At Pencil & Practice Tutoring, I understand that schedules can change and unexpected situations can arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I kindly ask for at least 12 hours' notice whenever possible.

Sessions canceled or rescheduled with 12 or more hours' notice may be moved to another available time at no additional cost.

Sessions canceled with less than 12 hours' notice, as well as missed sessions without notice, are forfeited and are not eligible for rescheduling, credit, or refund.

I understand that life can be unpredictable and unexpected situations may arise. My goal is to be understanding and flexible whenever possible while also protecting the time reserved specifically for your student.

Students are expected to arrive on time for scheduled tutoring sessions.

The tutor will wait up to 30 minutes after the scheduled start time before considering the session missed. Time lost due to a student's late arrival will not be added to the end of the session and will not result in a reduction of fees.

If the tutor arrives late, the lost time will be made up through an extension of the session or another mutually agreed-upon arrangement.

Payment is required before the start of each tutoring session unless otherwise agreed upon.

Package purchases must be paid in full at the time of enrollment. Failure to make timely payment may result in suspension of future tutoring sessions until payment is received.

Pencil & Practice Tutoring reserves the right to update pricing and package offerings at any time.

Tutoring services are non-refundable once a session has been completed.

Unused prepaid sessions may be eligible for refund at the sole discretion of Pencil & Practice Tutoring.

No refunds will be provided for missed sessions, no-shows, or sessions canceled with less than 12 hours' notice.

Pencil & Practice Tutoring is committed to helping students learn, grow, and develop confidence in their academic abilities.

Tutors provide instruction, guidance, explanations, study strategies, and feedback. Tutors will not complete assignments, projects, exams, quizzes, discussion posts, essays, or any other graded work on behalf of students.

Students remain solely responsible for all work submitted to their schools, colleges, universities, testing agencies, or educational institutions.

Every student learns differently. While Pencil & Practice Tutoring strives to provide high-quality educational support, no guarantee is made regarding grades, test scores, academic performance, admissions decisions, scholarships, or other educational outcomes.

Results depend on numerous factors, including student effort, attendance, participation, and study habits.

Students agree to actively participate in tutoring sessions, complete assigned work, and communicate any areas of difficulty.

Parents and guardians agree to provide a supportive learning environment, encourage student participation, maintain open communication regarding academic needs, and ensure timely payment for services.

Pencil & Practice Tutoring respects the privacy of students and families.

Information collected through tutoring sessions, contact forms, registration forms, payment systems, and communications is used solely for educational and administrative purposes.

Personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties.
